Running Late?
Rest assured that we are naught but the lice-ridden wings that allow the mottled bird of
time to fly. If one complains that there are not enough hours in the day,
whose fault is it? Time? Time cannot bear blame.

Time is a construct that does not exist separate from it’s creator. I create,
and more importantly admit to, the hours that pass too quickly. If I acknowledge
the passage of the smallest of these increments, then suddenly I find myself growing old,
and that is not a thing I can afford to do. Too much to do.

No, better to be late for lunch a few times, eat when you are hungry, sleep when you are tired,
miss a little work. Marvel at the approach of spring, watch a child grow up, live and die.

What is the rush? Time is all around us, infinite as the space it defines, and we certainly don’t
need more of it. Less of it would serve. Not as likely to choke. Hurry and make mistakes. Hurry and
accomplish nothing for your efforts. Hurry and waste your life
